Okay people.
I need you.
Desperately.
I have spent countless days going through four years worth of my own blog posts. And while it’s been an interesting stroll down memory lane, I am trying to narrow it down to my ‘Top Ten’ Favorites. Why? Because I have been presented with an opportunity that’s too good to pass up. I can’t really discuss what, why, or how this opportunity landed in my lap because I am afraid of ‘Jinxing’ it. So let’s just say a friend of a friend, who knows somebody who knows somebody, might be able to open some doors for me. And they’ve requested a few writing samples. Specifically blog posts.
However, this is proving to be much more difficult than I expected. And here’s why. I have not been given any parameters. In fact, I have no idea what market I am supposed to be targeting. Basically? I’m going into this blindly. But this is where YOU [my beloved readers] can HELP me.

I figured since you’ve been such a fantastic ‘audience’ I might as well call upon my family, friends, new, and long-time loyal readers to ‘VOTE’ on your favorite Momma Mia Mea Culpa blog-posts.

Meleah, I read them all, and they’re all great. But my favorites are My Daddy and the Spider and Friendships – When Losing One Hurts Like Hell. One’s funny, and one’s not, but they’re both honest, one of your hallmarks. I can’t decide which one I like more.
Speaking as professional, they both need some editing, by the way. I’d be glad to help if you’re not in a hurry and you’re not too sensitive.

Your blogs posts are like women….each one is hot in ‘her’ own way. There’s something special in each of them. But if I were to choose then I would have to vote for “Breast Implants, Augmentation Nation” …..just because you wrote about my fav general subject!

Hi, Meleah – Well, I didn’t read each of the posts you offered but I started each of them to get the general tone, then skimmed to to see where the went. The ones I liked best, i read all the way through. For me, the best … from the pure quality of writing and originality, is “New Jersey Turnpike.” It’s brilliant. But you know I’m a romantic and from the heart, I’d choose “Grandmother Manga.” If you want to add in something “edgy,” I’d vote for “TMI” or “Spider.” Good luck with your opportunity, whatever it is.
