DeSordi Family Picnic – 2010

As most of you know I have been very ill since last week. And I am still not 100% better. In fact, I have to take another round of antibiotics. [#ihatebeingsick] Apparently, I have some kind of mutant bronchitis that just wont go away. However, I managed to drag myself out of bed on Saturday to attend a family gathering. And it was awesome.

Now, what’s a girl to do when she has been named the ‘Family Historian’ and therefore she takes hundreds of photos [paparazzi style] at the DeSordi Family Picnic and she wants to share them with her family and friends, but she doesn’t want it to be boring?

The Solution?

SHE MAKES A MOVIE!

Enjoy.

For someone who is sick as a dog, you do a pretty darn good job for paparazzi.

You are welcome to come record ourfamily reunion/outings any time.

Looks like everyone had a blast and for a Pepper, you don't look too much under the weather.

Hope you are feeling a bit better.

  2. Aw. Shucks! Thanks Agg.

We can thank the features in my iPhoto for helping me airbrush the sickness

    off of my face!

Also, I will have a new post up later this week.

It's about my father and it's hilarious. So you can look forward to that!

  5. So glad to see you are felling better. Bed ridden is not a favorite past time for anyone. I throughly enjoyed the family historians movie. Next up, Hollywood, or maybe even Bollywood :-).

  6. Thank you! I'm still sick, but at least I am MOBILE again!

  7. Ron says:

    Applaus…applause…applause!!!!!

This video ROCKED!!!! And can I just tell ya how much I loved the song?

Honestly, one of these days I have to meet your family because they look like the nicest, happiest and coolest family ever! And OMG…can you just TELL they're ITALIAN or what? I could feel the “Italianness” emanating from the pictures. Loved the photo of the guy “copping a feel” of the woman's boobies – HA!

Hope you're feeling better, my wonderful Libra friend!

Thanks for sharing this video. I LOVED it!!!!

    X

  8. YAY! I am so happy you enjoyed this, Ron.

That was my Uncle Victor grabbing my Aunt Lynda.

They rock! They were also the 'hosts' of the BBQ.

And, you are ALWAYS invited to hang out with my family.

    The more the merrier!

PS: Sadly, I am still sick. I am better than I was last week, but I'm still

not 100%. I have to take another round of antibiotics for another 5 days.

  11. Marty Wombacher says:

Sorry to hear you're still sick, but glad you could make it to the picnic. I can't see the video because I'm at work and it's blocked (the assholes actually expect me to work rather than surf the internet for 8 hours, the nerve of them!) I'll check it out when I get home. I hope you feel better soon.

  12. Random Chick says:

  19. My cousin Bucky is like my own personal CK underwear Model!

I've missed you too! Watched the video and felt at home with your mob. Loved the music too. “When You're Smiling”. Was that Ray Ellington singing?

But most of all, get well soon so you can have a drink!

  23. Bee says:

That looks like so much fun! I hope you feel better soon!

  24. Hi you! No it's not Ray Ellington.

  31. territerri says:

Awww! That looks like SO much fun! Clearly, you had a great day for a family picnic and no one was in a hurry to go home! Great pics!

Hope you're feeling 100% again soon!

  32. Mikewj says:

Your family looks like a lot more fun than mine.

But I think two of your relatives might need to get a room! And for more than one night!

You didn't look sick, by the way, so that's good, because if you look good, you feel marvelous.

  33. cardiogirl says:

I love your candid photos — especially the woman with the reddish-orange shirt doing the shoo-away-the-paparazzi hand move (at 24 seconds) and the guy after her (at 26 seconds) with the cigarette and the black shirt. He looks like he could tell a story for hours. Without interruption.

Oh! What a treat! Just realized that woman at 24 seconds is in the background on the left in the picture of the cigarette-totin'-storytellin' guy.

Excellent job on matching the photos to the beat of the song.

  34. Awake In Rochester says:

Looks like fun! I'll be right over. πŸ˜‰ …Hope your 100% very soon.

  35. Thanks Mike.

    My family is pretty fun!

An I only look healthy thanks to the magic of airbrushing!

  36. Aw. Thanks. I have a really fun family, and oh yes, they sure can tell some

wild stories! My aunt Renee [shooing away the paparazzi] HATES when I

photograph her, cuz she's knows it will be on the internet!

  37. You're always welcome to attend one of my Family Functions!

  38. Brookeamanda says:

What a good looking family! I like the one of the guy grabbing his (I'm assuming) wife's boobs:)

  39. When do me n Cuppie get the family initiations ??? πŸ˜‰

  40. Lucy says:

I hope you turn the corner soon but glad you could still put together your cool video for your family, memories are wonderful to have and treasure!!!

  41. Thank you!

And yes, that's my Uncle Victor groping my Aunt Lynda!
