I Am Single, Again.

I am simply too exhausted to write about the specifics surrounding the reasons my relationship with Sonny has come to a very painful END. All I can say is that I am going to need all of your love and support to help me get through this difficult time.

I am completely heartbroken.

  • So sorry to hear this, Meleah! And right before the holidays. I went through something traumatic a few years ago and was really depressed and my doctor suggested I write about it. I did and it helped. I'm not saying you need to make it public, but sometimes writing about something painful helps, at least in my case. A new decade is about to begin, this last one sucked, so I'm hopeful that the next one will be great for all of us. Hang in there.

    Best thing you can do is be gentle with yourself, accept the support from others, and do things to keep you busy so that you are 'not in your head' too much.

    My mother dragged me out of bed and took me to the Apple Store to buy me the newest, biggest, baddest Macbook Pro, and NOT even THAT put a smile on my face. The shock of what happened is starting to wear off, and the heartbreak and pain are taking over. I honestly can NOT believe what he did. When I get the strength, maybe I will be able to enjoy my new computer. Every one, PLEASE just keep sending me love and virtual hugs. I NEED THEM.

  • Believe me when I say I am just as blindsided as you are. Of course hindsight is 20/20 and there were definitely warning signs and red flags that I chose to ignore in the name of love, but there is nothing I can do about any of that now. I'm just glad my son didn't get dragged through moving out only to have to move back out again ... I truly believe everything happens for a reason
