I have decided the only sport I am willing to participate in this year will be watching House Marathons on TV.
Oh and Chapter Three along with Chapter Four have now posted for your reading enjoyment.
Or you may start reading the rough draft of my book from the beginning, by clicking HERE.
The only sport so far I’ve done this year is sitting on my butt and doing nothing. Can that even be considered a sport? LOL!
Nick:
Yeah, that’s a sport. I think?
Hey, if ESPN will do a show about card playing, watching House most certainly qualifies as a sport. Pace yourself. You don’t want to sprain anything….
Excellent read. Your story is mesmerizing.
if house was a sport, i’d play too!!! i love that show..do you know i just this week found out hugh laurie is british?? cant belive it.. i watched some videos of him speaking with a british accent and it totally freaks me out!!!
arm chair sports are the best. I can referee a game from mine as well! I just shout at the TV occasionally. Friday is not as much fun any more! (Big bottom lip sticking out!)
Did I read 4 yet? I’ll have to go check it out.
Agg:
oooh yay!
I am glad you are enjoying it!
Paisley:
I love him ALMOST as much as I love Alec Baldwin
GGOM:
Okay, Maybe I will work in a Friday Funny for you this week?
The Girl
I dont know if you read four yet?
House is the bomb. A few weeks ago, I watched seven or eight episodes back to back. Great to see you making progress on the book. All the best Meleah. 🙂
Dang I guess I can’t drag your tush to a good old redneck stock car race..:)))
heading over for a read ..:)
I’m really good at that Sport! But I don’t get USA (I only have an antenna for my tv. (I’m not really home often enough to justify paying for cable.)
I hope you enjoyed it for both of us!
Tree:
I really do love me some Dr. Gregory House. And thanks for the support with my book!
Robert:
Much appreciated.
Courtney Ryan:
I need to get you some CABLE!
A Dr. House Marathon is what Doctor ordered!
I’ve been on a much needed blogging break and look forward to reading your online novel this week! 🙂
I Love House! THik I’ve seen most of them but still watch!
Can’t wait to get a drink, relax and read the chapters!!!!!
Miss Money Penny:
Hell Yes Indeed!
Oh I would really appreciate that!
You are great.
Oscar:
I cant wait to hear what you think of the book so far!
🙂
TV marathons as sport? I’m in. Now I’m off to read your new chapters!
I’m going to read it as soon as I get a little more time but I just wanted to pop over and say hello and wish you well! 🙂 Kthxbai!
Selma:
It’s about the only ‘Sport’ I can handle!
I am really looking forward to your feedback on those chapters!
xoxoox
Tenni:
No rush at all!
🙂
I’m not gonna read drafts. I’m gonna wait to buy the book! 🙂
I like House too. I call the show The Incredible Dr. House (I just had to make up my own name for it). I even wrote a post about it:
http://letitblurt.wordpress.com/2008/12/04/the-incredible-dr-house/#comments
I will be reading your book, as it exists so far. It might take me a while.
Rolando:
Alrighty Than!
Richard W:
Oh cool. I will head over and read that shortly!
Take your time (there is no rush to read my story.)
House appears to have lost the edge. … unlike years past, I did not buy the most recent DVD set.
I have, however, laced up the snowshoes and gotten meself out of my house!
Well, I couldn’t take my time because your book is just too damn interesting to delay reading. I know these are drafts but I’d like to offer a couple of brief editorial corrections. I’m doing this only to try to be helpful, not to be any kind of critic. These are all for Chapter 3:
“I was literally paralyzed for that moment time” – missing the “in”.
“I was memorized” (by the cash) – mesmerized? (spelling?)
“over hear” – the rustling of papers. I think that might be one word – overhear.
I could be wrong about one or two of those, so trust the spell check over me. I’m not trying to be any kind of school marm here – just trying to be helpful since you’re intending to publish this. And I think you should.
Sauerkraut:
I will forever be in love with HOUSE.
Good for you for getting out.
Richard W:
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
I really appreciate THAT.
You see, when I stare at the same page with the same words for too many hours in a row, I can’t see my own mistakes! I need New Eyes to look it over and catch things like that! That was wonderful.
I can only hope I will be a published author one day.
I think I’ll save reading the new chapters for this Sunday & Monday as I will have them off. I’m excited.
LOL! That’s funny! But it’s the only marathon I’d be willing to take part in, too!
I’ve lost my sport for the moment. I can’t ride again yet, the arm isn’t quite ready for horses. But I’m going to book a lesson very soon!
House Marathons? I have never seen a house that ran, although I have seen one on wheels.
Thanks for the links …. off I go !!! 😉
Watching House is strenuous. All that wiping of the drool…
Yay! I’ve been looking for a good book, so I’m diving into the beginning of one tonight 🙂
I’m so behind on House episodes…I never get back in time to watch ’em. Now if you have the dvd set, I’m jealous!
Roshan:
I am looking forward to hearing what you think!
Jay:
I’m glad your arm is getting better!
Speedy:
HA HA HA
That was funny
Terri:
LOL LOL LOL
Exposed
Sweet. I am dying to hear YOUR opinion
Ricardo B:
Want to borrow my DVD set?

hey there girlfriend!
You are a writing MACHINE!! I love it!
Meleah, loving the book and wondering is there a title for the book yet? I haven’t caught it anywhere but may have been looking right at it? Also, what did your family think about your style of living during Chapters 1-4? Did they know? Keep up the awesome writing and can’t wait for the next Chapter! Have a great weekend.
Hey There, I am truly enjoying the book. You’ve had me captivated on several occasions. 🙂
Keep up the good work!
PS- Please stop by, I tagged you. Free to post your answer in the comment section if you don’t make a post on your blog.
Thanks. 🙂

WVLeAnn:
Im thrilled you are enjoying the book!
Yes, my family knew the whole time what was going on in my life, but they were NOT happy about it. At All. The book is called On The Pole. (for now)
Shea:
Okay!
Angry:
Hell yes baby.
Sounds like a good sport to me. I will have a look at the writing.
Please DO.
