I *Heart* The Internet

I can not properly articulate or fully express just how much *I love all of you* who have been helping me through this recent little rough patch.

Some of you made me LAUGH OUT LOUD when I was sobbing and covered in tears. Some of you were way too cute and all too willing to ‘EGG HIS CAR’ or ‘THROW DOWN’ for me. Some of you gave me EXCELLENT words of WISDOM. Some of you have been a sturdy SHOULDER to CRY ON. Some of you handed out very much needed HUGS. Some of you offered to come to my RESCUE and some of you KEPT ME COMPANY for days. Some of you sent me THE BEST EMAILS of ALL TIMES. And some of you reminded me WHAT I AM WORTH.  More than ONCE.

And ALL OF YOU offered your undying support and love to me.

For all of that?

I am forever grateful.

Thank You – My Dearest  Internet.

I want to personally thank The Following People for being so incredibly awesome:

Tagged

I was tagged by TWO People: the one and only SoLow to complete this meme. And by Eva @ Sveedish to complete The Same Meme.

The rules:

1. Link to the person that tagged you
2. Post the rules on your blog
3. Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself
4. Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs
5. Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.
6. Let your tagger know when your entry is up.

I’ve been doing quite a few of these lately, and I’m not sure I can come up with anything new, but I will give it my best shot.

1. quirk: I have to sleep with my feet OUTSIDE of the covers. I cannot stand feeling tucked in or trapped. And, I never break into a sweat when my feet are free!

2. non-important thing: My hair is looking good these days.

3. habit: I smoke and talk way too much.

4. quirk: I have a tendency to over analyze everything.

5. non-important thing: I desperately need a new bathrobe.

6. habit: I drink too much coffee. In fact, I think I would die without it.

The SIX lucky bloggers I am tagging are:

I was also tagged by EVA @ Sveedish to complete This Photo Challenge:

Here was the list of rules from her tag:
1) Choose the 4th folder where you store your pictures on the computer
2) Select the 4th picture in the folder
3) Explain the picture
4) Tag 4 people to do the same.

The fourth photo in my iPhoto library is this one.

I created that photo when I was having a hard time writing anything. I wrote a post about it here.

The FOUR bloggers I am tagging are:

Friday Funnies: Jim And Edna

Jim and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital.

One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there.

Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled Jim out.

When the director of Nursing became aware of Edna’s heroic act, she considered her to be mentally stable.

When she went to tell Edna the news she said, “Edna, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you’re being discharged.

Since you were able to rationally respond by jumping in and saving the life of another patient, I have concluded that your act displays a sound mind. The bad news is that Jim, the patient you saved, hung himself in his bathroom with the belt to his robe right after you saved him. I am sorry, but he’s dead.”

Edna replied, “He didn’t hang himself, I put him there to dry.

How soon can I go home?”

Mellow Yellow Monday’s

I have recently discovered the latest, hippest, coolest ‘blogger ritual’.

[And you know I would NEVER keep a secret like this from ya’ll.]

Over the past week [while diligently surfing my favorite blogs, leaving comments, supporting the team, and “All That Jazz” ] I just happened to stumble upon a little gem of an idea.

By the way? This is fast becoming quite the “Cool Kids” Trend For Mondays.

[Just sayin’]

I originally discovered this while visiting ‘One of my All Time Favorite Websites/Bloggers’ known around the Internet as Drowsey Monkey.” The ‘official title’ of this latest, hippest, coolest, ground floor idea, is called “Mellow Yellow Monday’s.” Apparently, Mellow Yellow Monday’s was started by This Blogger. Who says, and I quote…”Because life is better with a splash of yellow“.

[So. Very. True.]

So, Thanks to DROWSEY MONKEY and thanks to This Blogger I’ve decided to do my best and get in on the action. Here is my FIRST attempt. This is my Mellow Yellow Monday contribution.

As I searched around my house looking for something YELLOW, I realized my To Do List was written on a yellow pad!

Friday Funnies: Why You Need To Check Your Childs Homework.

(Here’s the reply the teacher received the following day.)

Dear Mrs. Jones,

I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer.
I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit.  I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it.  Her picture doesn’t show me dancing around a pole.  It’s supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot. From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.

Sincerely,
Mrs.Smith

Thanks Christine!
