Ah, yes.
After several very long and very uncomfortable months of sitting on this broken chair, and after several months of diligently shopping and searching, I finally have a new desk chair.
And quite frankly, I’ve never been so excited, or so in love, with a piece of furniture!
Totally. Swag.
New Year + New Chair + Scented Candles + Coffee + Cold Air = Writing.
And I’ve never been happier.
🙂
Then I envy you indeed, my friend. It comes and goes with me these days.
That’s a gorgeous chair. Very elegant. It looks comfortable too. I’m sure you’ll have many happy hours writing while sitting on it. I want one too!
This has been brewing inside of me since 2007. It’s FINALLY ready to come out.
Thanks, Selma.
This chair is totally comfy as it is fabulous!
Thank you, Kathy!
A thinking chair? 🙂 Awesome (Say’s she in her boring office chair)
🙂
LOVE to hear you happy, Meleah. I once came home with a green desk chair that my wife hated. We had our biggest fight ever over it. I think I may have to post about that.
Yes, please write about THAT!
Well .. Wow. That is one heck of a chair! No wonder you’re in love with it! Not for you the utility office furniture, black plastic and chrome and all levers and knobs! No .. Meleah has to have the velvet and diamante version – and why not? You deserve it. 😉
HA!! Thanks Jay.
Is it weird that I can’t stop petting it?
The material is just so velvety. I love how it feels!
It looks like a great chair and I like the color. Your new writing throne!
That’s such a good feeling.
That’s quite the chair, and I love the green. May your backside be happy for years to come.
I LOVE it! I just got a new chair too! Now, to keep my cats off of it!
Indeed, Marty!
When’s the new blog going to be ready? I’m having withdrawls!
It sure is.
You rock, Jayne.
Thanks, Linda!
🙂
OOOH! YAY!
I wanna see your new chair!
That is one tall drink of water! Er, I mean that’s one handsome chair.
Why thank you, Margaret!
The new blog is starting Feb. 1st. I hope I still have an audience by then! Glad to hear your writing is going great with the new chair!
I love the bling! That chair looks very comfy
Congrats on the new chair. I know what it’s like to have a broken chair. I was using a broken chair at the office for about two weeks before I gave up on it and switched to a less broken chair. I tried to switch to an office chair that I restored, but, while fine for short periods, sitting on it all day is not comfortable.
New chair looks nice. But please tell me you gave the old chair to someone who can restore it to its former glory. It totally looked salvageable to me.
Hooray!!
I’m excited for the new venture!
Bling = Swag!
The old chair is sitting in the garage.
My father will probably restore it, when he has the time.
Thanks, Dan.
Of course not. Why would you even ask that? LOL!
Where did you get that chair? It’s absolutely FAB-U-LOUS!! Fitting for a professional writer, I think. 😉
Ahahhhaha!!!!
🙂
Marshalls!

IT IS GORGEOUS! A queen’s chair for a beautiful queen!!!! 🙂 I love it! Is anyone else allowed to sit in it? Or is it YOURS. I think it should be YOURS!
No ONE is allowed to sit in MY chair!
xoxoxo
It’s all in the details. Chair looks divine.
Thank you, daaaaling.
Absolutely adore this chair! The color is so unique too! Awesome find!
That’s some serious eye candy you got goin’ on there, Mereb. And comfy to boot! I think it’s safe to say the two of you are in it for the durations. 🙂

Big time!
I’ve been working on my novel again, and it’s all because of this chair!
That’s fantastic! I’m so happy to hear it!
Aww… Thanks, Steph!
