#19
You knew Dasher and Dancer
And Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid
And Donner and Blitzen.
But you didnt recall
The most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
He Had a very shiny nose
(like a light bulb)
And if you ever saw it
(saw it)
You would even say it glows
(like a flash light)
All of the other reindeer
(reindeer)
Used to laugh and call him names
(like Pinochio)
They never let poor Rudolph
(Rudolph)
Play in any reindeer games
(like Monopoly)
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say
(Ho Ho Ho)
Rudolph with your nose so bright
Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?
Then all the reindeer loved him
(loved him)
And they shouted out with glee
(yippee)
“Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
(reindeer)
You’ll go down in history!”
(like Columbus)
OMG — I have a foodblog friend who emails me these things and I spent FOREVER answering her. JEEZ. Speaking of food — what the heck is “anti-pasta?” I have to know! Oh duh — I just saw the link…
Um…now I get it…antipasti. It looks SOOOOOOOOO good. I was thinking that because you can’t eat gluten that it was some kind of pasta that isn’t pasta just for you and I was going to say…Awwwwww…..now that’s a gramma.
BFF:
Your so crazy. I love you.
KellyPea:
Your too funny. HA HA HA…ps… The Crazy 8’s you tagged me with will be completed and posted 2morrow.
What a great post 🙂 Isn’t it funny that some of us have a tradition of opening one present each on Christmas Eve. We have always done the same in our family. There is something really magical about Christmas Eve night that doesn’t disappear, even as an adult.
And thank you for your kind words about my tree, your words really mean a lot to me and I appreciate them very much.
Wishing you a very happy (or merry…lol!) rest of the week,
Kindest regards, Graham x
Sooo ummm…Yes the boy Otto blushed when I showed him the comments and he saw yours…and then he wanted to know who Meleah is…and man he blushed eve MORE! LOL…
Loved your answers! Your one of the few people I’ve come across that is like me in wanting the tree down the day after Christmas.
Graham:
Your tree is soo beautiful. I hope you have a fabulous week as well. Im in an all memes all week mode…. should be fun though.
Jodi:
AWW..Now I am blushing!!!
Terri:
I cant stand it lingering around! hahahaha
Great post!!! But I can’t believe you outed my eggnog problem. Twins are supposed to look out for each other
😉
I posted the meme on my site. Hope you enjoy!
I have seen the leg lamps on ebay, it is my husband’s favorite movie and I have scoured ebay trying to find some sort of memorabilia to buy him. You should check it out! I am sure the folks would love that lamp as a contribution to their interior decorating, something that says “Meleah lives here now!”.
I love John Lennon’s ‘So This Is Christmas’ song… I could listen to it over and over and over without getting bored! Makes me kinda sad too… dunno why…
I love “White Christmas” for the dancing. My fave song is ‘O Holy Night.’ My favourite present ever was Hawaiian Barbie when I was about 8 or 9. I loved her!
Michael C
I am looking out for you! That was a GREAT post! Its called link love baby.
CMK
Yeay! Thank you for playing with me
Beth
My friend/twin/fellow blogger MICHAEL C already OWNS the Leg Lamp I so covet. He sent me the fabulous links to buy the lamp and a link to buy it as a life sized blow up lawn ornament. Although I don’t think my mother will go for the lawn decorations!
Nessa
I know. That song has the same effect on me.
Selma
Awww…Hawaiian Barbie.
Then in that case, I am feeling the link love…and thanks!
You and I are an awful lot alike! ;o) Love your answers.
Yeah I LOVE that song too 🙂
Avery:
So now you can see why I stalk your blog so much.
The having so much in common factor…yanno?
Whats that old saying…”birds of a feather…flock together” or something like that.
RMH:
I knew YOU would.
umm, didn’t you forget the most important reindeer of them all?
