My 14-year-old son, JCH, had a pretty interesting Homework assignment. Justin, and two of his classmates, had to make an “infomercial” of sorts – for any product made during the 18th or 19th century.
But rather than explain it to you?
I’d rather just show you.
Here’s the finished creation.
In case you don’t know, my son is the one with the long, moppy, blond hair.
And, he was the one who shot the video.
And, he did all of the editing.
I’m seriously impressed, and such a proud momma!
[PS: I think my favorite part is the *disclaimer* portion.]
Did YOU ever have this much “fun” with Home Work – when YOU were in High School?
Funny. And I’m very impressed with the editing.
I LOVE the fo’-real guy. He cracks me up every time I see him. Bravo! Excellent work. Now what was that phone number again?
Excellent ! His teacher/school certainly is moving with the 21st century.
The most fun I had with homework in school was not doing any.
Very nice video. I can see where JCH gets his editing skills. I believe the old expression is “The nut/acorn doesn’t fall very far from the tree”. Hope they get an “A” for their work. (Do they get grades in school anymore?).
Great job J and company. He comes by it honestly.
If I order in the next ten minutes, can I get a second one at no additional cost?
Awesome.
When I was in high school, we had to do a project describing a word. I picked ‘torture’ and me and my friends made a video of us being fake tortured in his dad’s warehouse. Fake knives. Fake blood. Being strung up and fake electrocuted. It was amazing.
None of this should surprise anyone.
That was awesome! Fo’ real! The satisfied customer with the smile is one of my favorite web guys. He cracks me up. They did an awesome job. I think when I was a kid the fun was with dioramas and vaudeville.
Thanks, MWJ
I am beyond impressed. And, how he spliced in those other viral videos?
Kils me!
“Fo’ Real. You are really dumb…”
Ahahahahahahah

> Did YOU ever have this much “fun” with Home Work – when YOU were in High School?
Good one!
Each generation has its ways, this one happens to be smack in the midst of YouTube and high powered computer apps. The kind of fun I had back in my HS project days is banned today on claims of safety but it is really the result of litigious people that spoil it for all… we did smoke the labs, caused temporary hearing/sight loss on some and tripped more than one circuit breaker in school. Those were the days 🙂
Ron,
There are so many funny things in this video!
I’m so happy you enjoyed it as much as I do.
And you’re right. My son better get an A+++++ or else!
🙂
Hi, Rog!
Wow. I never go to do ANYTHING fun like that either!
I did something like this in Junior High and we made a commercial for adult diapers:)
Shut up! Do you still have that video?
Cuz if you do? You need to post that – like immediately!
BRAVO!! BRAVO!!! he is so talented, and he acted w/ gusto! looks like someone could have potential future in video editing/productions!
Or acting!
Thanks, Christine!
Great work and editing! Fo’ real!
Ahahahahhah! Thanks, Marty!
Oh my god! Hilarious! It is so obvious that JC is YOUR son! He definitely gets his computer talents from you and this had me cracking up. 🙂 I haven’t been by for a while so I am going to go back and read some of your other posts to catch up! Hi!!!!!!!!!! I’ve missed being over here!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Tenni! We’ve missed HAVING you over here!
Welcome back, my friend!
This is homework? Great movie – mind you he has a bit of a movie buff in his mum 🙂
Just be sure he remembers to thank his mom when he wins the Oscar for best director! 🙂
Awesome! I think these three all have a future in the entertainment industry. The disclaimers were hilarious! Hope they got an A!
Oh, I am taking FULL credit for his creativity.
And yes, Babs, this is a REAL homework project!
Cool. Right?
Very cool – and very practical really.
Aw! Shucks.
Thanks, Nicky.
