It’s perfectly normal to forget what you are saying mid-sentence.
Right?
I really hope so. Because that’s what keeps happening to me for the last few days.
It’s also perfectly normal to forget where you are going while you are driving.
Right?
Because I drove right past where I was supposed to turn, not once, not twice, but 5 times this week.
And it’s only Wednesday?
I may have grossly underestimated how difficult it would be to make the transition from working at home to working back in the office again.
I am in for one hell of a long week.
On a lighter note…
I received this fabulous Award from The World’s First And Most Original Traveling Garment:
And THIS is why she gave it to me.
THANK YOU DAAAALING.
xxoo xxoo
I’m so forgetful I can’t even remember how I started this sentence, I’m so forgetful.
Forgetting mid-sentence is normal. I’ve done it several times in one meeting.
This may go up there with pop asking you do you remember how to get to work?
The Sarcasticynic :
I feel so fuzzy in my head. Like I am in a cloud or something.
Urban:
Right! I guess my dad was accurate. I didn’t remember how to get here. Oh that makes me feel so much better that someone else is walking around forgetting what they are saying Mid Sentence! Sheesh!
Oooooh talk about forgetful!….did you read Drowsey’s blog this morning? My blog-mistress isn’t just loosing it, she’s LOST it! HAHAHAHA! Enjoy your award my dear…I think it suits you to a T! 🙂
xoxoxo
I honestly don’t think there is anything wrong with you just because you forgot to turn or you forget what you were saying. It happens to me ALL the time. Wait, maybe there’s something wrong with me too. Oh crap. Let’s just start a commune and lay about all day. Sound good?
Congrats on the award! Yeah, I have things like you mentioned happen to me often. It’s not unusual (Tom Jones) for me to lose all concentration when typing something at work. I just give in to it, get up and go buy a soda.
Mimzie:
I would LOVE to join that commune.
(Just as long as we have a wireless internet connection)
xxoo
Michael C:
ha ha ha Tom Jones ha ha ha
Yep. Im about to go get more coffee which isn’t even helping me concentrate whatsoever. And then I am supposed to do something important, but I have No Idea what it is. Maybe I will remember later in the afternoon? Or not.
Olga:
Thank you sooooooooo much.
xxoo
No I haven’t read Drowsey’s post yet. In fact, I haven’t been by too many blogs all week.
🙁
Too Tired from having to work in the office.
*double frown face*
I am HOPING to have the strength to hit the Internet HARD tonight. I feel all left out. I have no clue whats happening on The Internet and I miss the hell out of everyone.
I think its perfectly normal to forget what _________________________
um, what was i saying?
Brain dead. Yup, describes me perfectly! You have company, my dear. 🙂
It’s normal. At least for me. I’m constantly forgetting everything!
Barbara:
Ha ha ha ha…t
That is what I have been doing ALL WEEK
CMK:
Whew. I feel better just knowing that
CatScratch:
I feel like a slow witted moron!
well… if it isn’t normal.. there are a lot of really fucked up people driving around!!!!!!!
Paisley:
you just made me CRACK THE FUCK UP….. I love you. hahahahahahahaha
Forgetting where you are going IS annoying.
What about forgetting why you walked into a certain room?
Sometimes I start to look for something, then forget what the hell I was looking for. Then I’ll sit back down… and THEN I’ll remember…. and THEN I’ll forget again and sit back down. What a horrible unfunny cycle!
congrats on the award..in regards to the other stuff your not alone..I do stuff like that all the time…
congrats. I have done that BTW.
Of course it’s normal… isn’t it? 😀
I love your new award… it’s totally cool and one of the nicest ones I’ve seen so far!
All that stuff was perfectly normal for me…when I was recovering from a concussion. You need to be careful lady!
Please be careful. I fear you are overdoing it. And what a lovely award. Well-deserved. I love butterflies!
Forgetful? Me? Nah … you know, Jessica, urrmm, I mean Angela, ahhh, Samantha … what was your name again? Meleah, yeah that’s it … LOL!
I know exactly what you mean cos I can walk into a shop to buy something and end up actually forgetting just what the heck I needed! Must be associated with that thing called old age … sigghhh …. Now you have a nice day, Andrea, urrmmmm, Meleah … 😀
I have done it a few times in my life… driving past your destination is much better than forgetting why you entered a room. LOL….
It happened in shopping too, once or twice.. I would go with a nice list on the mind and I had ended up returning with everything but the one thing that I really needed urgent.
It can happen any day when you find yourself preoccupied with something. Dont mind it unless it happens everyday.. LOL
take care…
congrats on your award… looks quite pretty on your blog… happy writing…
I have a habit of walking into rooms and immediately forgetting why I’m there. Highly annoying.
i’m really bad with directions so i sympathize with you missing your turn off 5 times. been there. sometimes i have to pull over and call for directions even though i’ve traveled the road before.
Jillian:
HA HA HA HA
That happens to me All. The. Time. It IS very annoying and an unfunny cycle of events!
Robert:
thank you. and good. It’s nice to know I am not the only one! 🙂
Ricardo:
🙂
Dawn:
I am so passing that award on to YOU. xxoo
Momo:
YOU CRACK ME UP.
Hmm…well, I haven’t hit my head recently, (cause for concussion) or at least I dont remember if I did.
Selma:
Thank you… and you are right. I might be pushing myself way too hard way too fast. I am dead tired.
Nick:
Yes. This forgetting everything phase is making me feel OLD!
Arv:
Aw. Thank you. I cannot and will not ever go shopping without a LIST. Are you kidding me!
Corrina:
So do I! hahahaha
Natural/Valerie:
Oh Man…Directions? I am the WORST. I hate driving somewhere new. I always ALWAYS get lost.
Don’t over do it!! This is your first week back!
I know. I know.
Thats why I haven’t written anything or been on the Internet much. All I have been doing is going to work and going to bed.
Today (Thursday) I am leaving the office VERY early, (1or 2pm) and I will be taking off tomorrow (Friday) to sleep all damn day.
I am WIPED OUT.
HEY?What’s your name. 🙂 Don’t worry about it .
I love running back into the house cause I forgot something and then when I finally get the locks and doors open and the cab is beeping the horn outside now and I can’t remember what the fuck I FORGOT IN THE FIRST PLACE! Now I stand schwantz in hand.
I do that all the time and frustrate myself doing so.
You’re on the road again, shit happens.
I ,on the other hand ,only miss the aspect of driving that allows me to go where I want, and when, without relying on someone else .
It truly is no hotbed of mental health on the road today and to think you can get killed for less than giving someone the finger, well, I would just assume FORGET THAT TOO! Ha! Ha!
Love Ya Bunches Babe!
xxxooo
I’ve been like that a lot lately…mine has to do with allergies. And they are fierce right now.
What was I saying?
If it makes you feel any better, I often run into a room to get something, and then forget what I meant to grab until I walk back out. Then I remember it. This process can take a long time.
“It’s perfectly normal to forget what you are saying mid-sentence.
Right?”
It is totally norma–
Sometimes when people ask my name I say, “Speedcat”. I need help …. 🙂
Congrats on the COOLio award too!
I have the same problem, but for me I think it stems from the fact that I think too much. I do to much at the same time or at least try to. I could be going up stairs to get my car keys and while doing that I am making lists, places I need to go and things I need to do. And then I start thinkin about something on tv or something I read. I want to write it down. Suddenly I’m upstairs and don’t know why.
For this reason I always double check stuff. I’m only 20 and my mind is like this I wonder what I’ll be like when I’m older
Nah. Normal, mamas!
Olly:
One day you will drive again…and then you will wish you didnt have to! Driving is not all its cracked up to be! But I hate getting lost- In My Own Town because I forgot where I was going.
Mrs Schmitty:
Allergy season is a complete nightmare. Foggy headed, sneezing, coughing…GAG.
Christina:
Its like running in circles
Leslie:
too funny.
Speedy:
hahahahahaahahahah
Shanti:
I do that. I will be doing one thing and get distracted with a whole different project and then forget what my original intent was.
CatScratch:
🙂
It’s perfectly normal to be brain dead…we’d all go crazy if we couldn’t have these kind of moments.
BTW, I’m having a special party over on my blog…please join us!!!!
:-)))))
Yeay. I love a Party!
