I had a little Turtle
His name was Tiny Tim
I put him in the bathroom
to see if he could swim
he drank up all the water
he ate up all the soap
now he’s sick in bed
with bubbles in his throat.
We drove back from Montreal to Ottawa a couple of weekends ago taking the secondary roads next to the Ottawa river. They actually had caution signs warning drivers to beware of turtles crossing the road. Didn’t see any though.
Great picture! How big is that turtle? It’s hard to guage in a picture. If it’s one of those itty bitty ones, I need to keep my distance. As a little girl, I had a bad history of keeping those little guys alive.
Turtle! I love turtles! (Although I prefer my dry box turtle… water turtles are too messy to clean up after.)
S/he looks like s/he needs a post-coital smoke.
That turtle is giving me the evil eye…it is making me very nervous!
Wow…this is like the COOLEST photo, Meleah!
Well done!
Is the turtle yours, or did you take this photo at like a sea aquarium? I love turtles!
X
Confession time: Turtles kind of freak me out, I know, I am odd one?
I had a little turtle, his name was Tiny Tim…
Pearl
Had? Tiny Tim?
Now I feel very sad.
Don’t we all need a post-coital smoke?
We used to have turtles here in Colorado. Now, I’m not so sure. I think they’re amazing creatures, and this is a good photo of one of them.
Let me guess… this guy lives in one of the dr. offices you have visited lately. 🙂
Agreed!
Huh?
LOLZ!!
It’s not mine. It’s my friend Jennifer’s.
Sadly, this is a pet-free household.
They are creepy. Like dinosaurs.
🙂
Lolz @ MWJ
I have no idea what that means.
I think they’re ugly!
It’s an old elementary school rhyme/song:
I had a little Turtle
His name was Tiny Tim
I put him in the bathroom
to see if he could swim
he drank up all the water
he ate up all the soap
now he’s sick in bed
with bubbles in his throat.
🙂
Currently, my house is pet-free too.
Oh, except for CHARLES!
HA!
Hahahah! Nope.
He’s my friend Jennifer’s pet.
Awwww! I’ve never heard that before.
Ahahahhahah!
We love Charles!
🙂
Aw, what a cute little fellow! Enjoying all the pictures.
Awwwww
X, from Charles.
🙂
Lolz!!
I love the look on his face! He’s a pet you say? Is he as big as he looks?
He’s gigantic!

GET OUT!

Turtle! We don’t have turtles in Finland.. Don’t know what I’d do if I saw one here. But M and I did see them in Greece, they were getting it on..
awwww I had turtles when I was a kid-cute and fun to watch but boy do they stink!!!!!
Oooh, that’s a good one! Not so easy to shoot underwater, is it?
I like that one. I can see this challenge is making you think laterally, too!
Nice turtle photo!
Nice photo. We used to have a three legged turtle, named “Stumpy”.
He can totally be friends with my plastic alligator, except he’s not much on conversation.
Don’t worry- I already have the Turtle Man and Neil on the way.
He’s pretty damn big. And kinda creepy.
HA!
🙂
No! That’s why I gave up on the fish and moved on to this guy!
Totally!
Thank you!
No way!
Ah ha! I knew that was fake!
🙂
