now this is too darn cool. i love it. initially i went with myself (self-portrait) as broken, cuz i am …was sprawled out on the floor with my props. after looking at it though, i just look like a fat lady sprawled out on the floor, so i nixed it.
This may be one of my favorite photos of yours! It has all sorts of interesting aspects and I think that your framing of the shot is fantastic! Now please tell, is the graphic broken glass looking, or did somebody shoot that poor lady’s picture???
I know sweetie, but you’re not. What I failed to recognize is that these 2 images are photos of you. Very powerful photo when I saw it; moreso now that I know what I’m seeing.
That is so cool, great work, Meleah! I think we’re all broken in one way or the other, but you manage to turn your brokeness into interesting blogs, funny stories and wonderful photos and that’s what makes you super-cool! Is brokeness a word?
This is extremely creative, Meleah, and fairly brilliant in light of all the medical problems you’ve got right now. It is one of my favorite photos of the challenge so far, in fact. I love the composition, the juxtaposition of your “broken” face balanced against the nonchalance and ordinary activity of the people to your right. *deep bow of respect*
First I took a photo of myself.
Then I used the Oldbooth app to make the image all shattered looking. Then, I saved the “broken” image to my iPhone.
Then I used the PhotoFunia app to add the bus stop.
Wow, this is one helluva photo. I adore what you’ve done here. (I just don’t understand what’s broken. Your heart?)
Meleah! This is crazy good! Love everything about it! 🙂

Marvelous! You may have a few cracks, but you’ll never be broken, Meleah! I <3 you!
Wow… this is so creative… so deep…. love it!

Wicked cool. Love the Melah mural. They should have more bus stops like that.
Oooo….what a COOL, COOL photo, Meleah!
And as one of your other readers shared, ” You may have a few cracks, but you’ll NEVER be broken.”
I think we all have cracks, but that’s what makes us unique, interesting and valuable.
((((((((((( You ))))))))))))
X ya, girl!
All my medical issues make me feel like I am broken.

I know sweetie, but you’re not. What I failed to recognize is that these 2 images are photos of you. Very powerful photo when I saw it; moreso now that I know what I’m seeing.

The nonchalant regular people, NOT paying attention is KEY.
I’m glad you *get* what I am trying to convey.
