I might be mistaken, but if the light is on and the gauge is on “E”, you ain’t going very fast very long.
Has JCH been driving and not filling up again?
Oh, that’s not a sight I like to see, just ask my hubby. Sometimes his gauge looks like that and I’m crossing my fingers that we make it to the gas station. That last quarter tank really does go fast!
I love it when my gas gauge drops to empty, because then I have an excuse to stop in and get a Coke. God help me, but I’m addicted to Coke like some people — cough! — are addicted to cigarettes.
My car is a total mess.
And it doesn’t bother me at all.
But god forbid I see a speck of dust?
And I will scour the whole house from top to bottom.
With a toothbrush.
There seems to be a lot of OCDness among your followers. Me included. I can’t let my car get that low on gas without hyperventilating. (figuratively any way) I hope the nearest station is REALLY near.
I know you are, physically because they make you for those nasty tests and I am sure you feeling it emotionally, I know and so wish there was a way to make it all go a way 🙂

You’ve captured the true meaning of fast, Mel! (Damn, I thought I just filled up a few days ago.)
Eeek! That always makes me anxious.
No that was all me!
I had to get to the gas station SUPER fast!
Me too!
Oh, I hate it every time that happens! Hurry, hurry!
Why is the increase in gas prices directly related to how fast we run out of it?
🙂
That makes me nervous just looking at it – and when it happens to me – I am always pulling out of the driveway, late to get someplace!
Good question!
Oh yes. Isn’t that always how it works out?!!
Eh. It doesn’t mean anything. You’ve probably got another 20 miles or so. 😉
VERY clever you are, Meleah!!!!!
That’s a great shot depicting FAST!
And can I just tell ya that when I had a car and was still driving, I never remembered to fill up, so my gas gauge looked just like that!
X

I would be way too nervous to try that!
Oh Ron!
You make me laugh!
Total panic attack!

Great take on today’s theme, Meleah! 🙂
I do love my Newports as much as you love soda!
ACK! You’ve triggered my OCD. I cannot let my car get that low on gas. Once it hits a quarter tank, I start to get all antsy!!
I don’t think mine is ever above a quarter of a tank. V_V
You are so right. The gas tank empties really fast!
You’re smart like that! I always let it get down to the very bottom!
LOLZ!
That’s what I’m sayin’!
I’m surprised that your car gets to empty Meleah. I would have thought it would be on a nice line like halfway for you.
Ahahahhahah! Because my OCD makes me NUTS in the house. Oddly, I don’t care when it comes to my car!
Ha ha I love what Babs wrote! Awesome shot!
Um hello, that’s TOTALLY one of the reasons we should be married!
🙂
That is odd 🙂

OCD is a close friend of mine. I love your picture! I hope you took it at a gas station.
🙂

I was very lucky to be super close to the gas station just as the light came on!
Is it because you drive fast?
hahahha. my car reads the same way. the light is on and everything. i hate going to the gas station. pooh.
It’s like your car is “fasting”. It’s hungry. Feed it!
No way! I’m a wimpy driver!
AhhahahhahhHAhHAHahhAHh!
YAY!
I am not alone!
at least we don’t have to pump our own gas though. Â hahahha.
Lolz!
Hell yes! Yay NJ!
Is it because you drove your car too fast? 🙂
Nah. It’s because I’m too lazy to get gas!
I agree with Mike, I love that this reflects two versions of, “fast.” Great work!
Boom!
I know you are, physically because they make you for those nasty tests and I am sure you feeling it emotionally, I know and so wish there was a way to make it all go a way 🙂
