WHAT THE F%CK DAY/TIME IS IT?

Wednesday evening —

I came home from work.
Sat down on my sofa.
Turned on my TV to NBC.
And there was a football game on???

Suddenly I had NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT DAY/TIME IT WAS
BECAUSE WTF FOOTBALL ON WEDNESDAY?

Then my mind spun out of control …

IS IT REALLY THURSDAY?
HAS IT BEEN THURSDAY ALL DAY?
I KNOW IT’S NOT SUNDAY.
IT CAN’T BE SUNDAY…
I JUST GOT HOME FROM WORK.

WTF DAY IS TODAY???

And, then?

My brain reeled into another direction.

Wait… WHAT THE FUCK TIME IS IT??
Is it 8 o’clock?
How can it be 8 o’clock?
I got home from work at 6 o’clock.
Doesn’t football start at 8 o’clock on Thursday nights?
But it’s only 6 o’clock.
ISN’T IT?
ISN’T IT?
WHY IS FOOTBALL ON TV?

IS IT 6 o’clock? OR IS IT 8 o’clock?
WTF TIME IS IT??

And, then?

To make matters EVEN WORSE?

It was brought to my attention that this particular football game started at 4pm.

So my brain went BATSHITCRAZY all over again.

MAYBE IT REALLY IS SUNDAY?
DID I ACCIDENTALLY SLEEP FROM WEDNESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY?
AND IN MY SCRUBS ON THE SOFA?
BUT I DIDN’T EVEN CLOSE MY EYES?
OR DID I?
OR SOMEHOW, DID I MANAGE TO PASS THROUGH SOME KIND OF CRAZY TIME TRAVEL VORTEX?

WTF DAY/TIME IS IT — REALLY ???!!!

So, then?

I checked my iPhone calendar, my Apple Watch, and my Amazon Alexa — only to discover, it WAS, in fact, still Wednesday, at 6pm.

Um…When the hell did football, on a Wednesday, start at 4pm?

Is this just another 2020 mind fuck?
Because it REALLY feels like another 2020 mind fuck.

I’m having a hard enough time keeping the days straight this year.

Good, Lord.

* PS: I was legitimately & severely confused and totally out of sorts — for a solid 15 minutes — trying to decipher what day/time it was in reality.

And, then?

No matter how much I tried to accept the realistic date and time — my brain was still convinced it was 10pm on a Thursday night. So I scarfed down a pizza, wrote this blog post, and went to bed.

SIDE BAR: In other news, work is going awesome! I finished my internship a while back and I’ve been hired full-time to stay at the doctors’ office, which I love! I will keep y’all updated on how that’s going, in a different blog post, on a different day!

And that’s a wrap!

Stay tuned.

Love,
