Personal Reasons

For personal reasons, I am going to be taking a break from blogging.

I have been wishing things were ‘different’ in my life for a while now. And I am currently trying to figure out HOW to make them different. Thus my blog break.

I need to focus on a real PLAN OF ACTION. I need to get serious about The Book and I need to get myself on a real routine. [That book is not going to write itself.]  Once I get myself together over here I can, and will, return to blogging.

But I am not going to get anywhere in this life unless I do something about it. I’ve wasted ENOUGH time.

Obviously, I have a lot to think about, a lot to figure out and I need to do this on my own. I hope I will be back sooner than later.

Just give me one week. Okay?

Ya’ll will be missed.

PS:

For those of you who maybe curious, or remotely interested, I left a copy of the FINAL DRAFT of my letter: To My Dear Sweet Highway The New Jersey Turnpike in the comments section over HERE.  Please feel free to read it and let me know what you think of it? Over THERE. Kay? Please? Thanks In Advance.

  37. teeni says:

We can certainly understand about the blog break. You take your time and get done what you need to get done. You can always tell us about it afterwards! 🙂 You’ll be missed but you come back and fill us in, okay?

  40. If I were trying to write a book I’d have to take a permenant break from blogging. One week may not be enough. On the other hand, we’ll miss you so much that I think we all hope you won’t take that much time off.

  41. The Rev. says:

We all need to take a bit of time for ourselves here and there.

May you find fulfillment in all your endeavors!

    dayum miss you already.

  45. good for you! I’ve been considering taking a break too. Of course I posted my sappy excuse for a blog tonight against my better judgment. I am in awe over how you know you need this break and are stepping up and taking it. Seriously. Way to go!

  46. moooooog35 says:

NOW who will I go see to get my daily dose of manic depressive?!

I think I’ll just go down this comment list.

  47. Momo Fali says:

You will be missed as well, but we understand. Go for it, girl!

  48. Donna says:

You have a week or a year, whatever your spirit says you need. You are already in our heads and hearts and I know I am all the better for knowing you. You have been kind to all of us, so in turn, give yourself that same kindness. Until your return, we shall look down to the sidewalks for chalk written words.

I find when I walk Madison in the forest, down the street or near the river, she takes me to places in my head that are safe and sane. I hope the same for you.

See you on the other side of the path, Ms M.

  49. Loz says:

And may I also add that you take whatever time you need. I’ve done the same thing. Take care my friend.

  50. How about you blog on the progress of your book? In a way, it’ll keep you accountable to it’s moving along? No? I’m not rushing you or anything… 🙂
