My very dear friend Dana, who some of you know as ‘Random Chick’ self-published her first book entitled, Stupid Poetry, Volume One.
Now, I am the first to admit, I could never write a poem [even if my very life depended on it] so it’s no surprise that I am in awe of her talent. However, after reading the book cover to cover, I was left wondering why she titled the book Stupid Poetry?
Funny? YES! Stupid? NO!
Seriously people, I found myself laughing out loud. A lot. Some of my favorites included her ‘Ode To Toilet Paper’, and the ‘Ode To Dirty Laundry.’ Dana has a gift for turning the mundane-every-day-bullshit into hilarious-limericks.
And therefore, I am going to suggest to all of you, my dear readers, to pick up your own copy of Stupid Poetry, Volume One simply by clicking here, or here!

I'm normally not big on poetry. I guess I am more of a limerick kind of guy:
There once was a man from Algiers
Who tried growing corn in his ears
When the temperature rose
He leapt to his toes
Now popping is all that he hears.
(that's one of the few clean ones I know)

Hi! Poetry was never my cup of tea until the greys hairs in my head started to appear! From time to time I'll let one out and with Valentine's Day coming up I'll let one rip again! As for snow, sadly I've never been a witness to its falling.
Well, if I could I would send the snow that's falling over here to YOUR front door!
And the only gray hairs I have? Are chin hairs!

I'm BAAAACk to the blogworld! Anyway, I think I'm gonna try me some of that DTD you speak of. Ya know, this could be a “thing,” like the whole “Day Zero” thing. I propose you make a DTD blog, post it as a facebook fan group thingie and get InterwebFAMOUS!
On, and for the record, I've heard it takes three to six weeks to develop a new habit, so that's how long it will be until it becomes DTTS.

SNOW!!!! Let me tell you about SNOW!!!! We got over a foot of snow way out here in Texas, yup America's South West is covered in the white stuff. Can I say, I am tickled pink (well not so much pink) the I only have to walk across the hall to my home office to work….wooohoooo! 🙂
DOOOOIIIIIT!!! You'd need parameters (look at me, giving all this unsolicited advice) like choose a certain number of things you'd do differently, then blog or post about it or something. Then, when you're featured on the Today Show I could say “I knew her back when we…well…I don't *know* her…but…uh…well…yeah.”
