I spend a lot of time reflecting upon the things I have to be grateful for. But, itβs not all that often that I take the time to write those things down. So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, Iβd like to share my gratitude list.
1. My son, Justin, for he is truly the light of my life, even though he drives me nuts.
2. My Parents. Their undying love and support forever amazes me. Thank you both for providing a roof over my head, food in my stomach, and the never-ending supply of toilet paper and laundry detergent. No, seriously. Thank you for that.
3. My whole entire family, on all sides. Mostly all four of my grandparents, Poppa Ernie & Gramma Ev and Manga & Poppa Sye who’ve since passed away. Because without them, my family wouldn’t even be possible. We may be crazy, and slightly dysfunctional, but Iβd be nothing without each and every one of you. And we definitely know how to have a great time together. Am I right?
4. My Friends. I donβt know how I got so lucky, but I have the BEST friends, in the whole wide world.
5. The Written Word.
6. My Blog.
7. Your Blogs, because each and every one of you have made me laugh, made me cry, held my hand, inspired me, and taught me so very much.

What are you thankful for?
You π
I’m also thankful for everything in my life because it made me who I am.
I think you have nailed the order right. We all have a lot to be grateful for and we should stop on occasion and give thanks. But I think you need to amend #25. Pajamas or Pajama Jeans?
That is a mighty long list :). I am most thankful for my family. They mean everything to me.
Thankful for 2012, way better off than the previous… got my kid back with me and that alone says thank you to family and friends that tagged along providing support for this to happen. Happy Thanksgiving Meleah!
I love your list and relate to it,you are thankful for what makes you, you π I feel the same way.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! P.S.I love that video of you!! I have to learn how to make videos and I know you say they take forever.
Amen to that, Babs!
LOLZ!
Family is the best. I’d be LOST without mine.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!
Videos do take forever. Depending on the program and/or special effects you want to add.
I am thankful for most of the things on your list as well. I’m also thankful that I don’t HAVE to be thankful for some of them….(Like baby wipes….) π
I’m proud of you for focusing on the good in your life, despite the rough times you’ve been through. You really do have a ton of things to be thankful for, and I am quite jealous of most of them – but especially your family. What a great gift they have been!
Have a great Thanksgiving Day!
Not enough people sing the praises of baby wipes.
Awwwwwww! Thank you.
Not a day goes by that I don’t feel incredibly blessed to have my family. That’s for sure.
Agreed!
You have much for which to be thankful. I am thankful for you and your blog, as well. I am so glad that this crazy thing called the internet allows me to have friends all over. Happy Thanksgiving, my dear NJ friend.

Awwwwww! XOXOXO
While I’m not one to make lists, I’ve got much to be thankful for, especially family and friends, both near and not so near. I was reminded today “Tomorrow is promised to no one…”. Thank you for being one of those friends.
What a great list, Meleah. As Ive said before, you and I have a lot in common for two people who would seem so different. My list will be up tomorrow in the form of video. Happy Thanksgiving.
I’m so sorry for your loss, Jimmy.
XOXOXO

A most excellent list. I hope you all had a marvelous Thanksgiving. There are so many things to be thankful for, but I guess most important are my friends and family, food to eat and a roof over my head, my cats (also family), reliable transportation, electricity (watching Revolution) and for all the little moments that make up life.
Amen!
love no. 2 and no. 11 (but a different model – eheheheh) oh yeah my kid too. weeeeee.
xoxox
Your list could be my list. I would add music to my list. And those plastic cups with the screw on lid and straw that can’t fall out. And hazelnut coffee creamer. And my dogs. And my husband who drives me nuts but puts up with my quirks too.
