NaBloPoMo | Day 16: Word

*Thank you for this one, Cheryl!

Have a GREAT weekend everyone!

PS; If everyone could please take the time out of their busy weekends to offer up support and love to one of my dearest friends, Ron, it would be much appreciated. He’s mourning the loss of his mother. And my whole heart breaks for him. I wish there was more I could do. Will you please help me comfort him?

  1. Ha ha! Most definitely the thing to do 🙂

  2. That’s good advice, but sadly I’ll never be able to do it. I have to obsess over everything! Have a great weekend!

  3. I used to obsess over everything too.
But lately? I’m not giving as much as a fuck!

    And it’s REALLY liberating!

  4. I need to try and start doing that too! Thanks for the inspiration!

I am so much better now about leaving the pieces on the floor. Don’t know why it took me so long to come to that conclusion! You’re right… it’s very liberating!

  6. I wasted so much time beating myself up, or trying to analyze things. Saying, “Fuck it!” and moving on = SO MUCH BETTER!

I posted this exact same quote on June 28th, “A 2PAC Moment” but you were busy this past summer LOL. It popped up on my Facebook feed and it really got me thinking and I did a blog post, so, I know how you feel. This quote is just one that gets you. If you have a chance to go back and read the post (just type Tupac int the search it pops right up) I went on to do a little research about Tupac, an interesting gentleman.

Anyway, more important,I am very, very sorry for your friend, my heart goes out to him, what a heartwrenching loss.

  8. Thank you, Lucy.

This quote REALLY stopped me in my tracks. And has SERIOUSLY changed my perspective on so many things.

I will totally try to find your post on the subject too.
    XOXO

Thank you, Meleah for the shout out. I really love that quote as well. As I am a person that over-thinks and obsesses all the time, I need to think of this one regularly. I see progress letting some things lay on the floor and saying fuck it.

  10. I am hanging this quote on my bedroom wall.

    FOR SERIOUS!

  11. Junebug says:

I’m pretty sure it meant that by the time you get to the certain point to have to mop up the blood of your enemies and then move the fuck on. I may be in a kill my enemies sort of mood and misunderstood.
    ((hugs)) to your friend.

  12. AAHhaHAhHAH! I love you, June!!

  13. Ron says:

    *clapping*

    Brava! Brava!

LOVE THIS QUOTE because it’s so damn true!

This is why I don’t believe in coulda, woulda because it happened exactly as it was supposed to happen. We can analyse it until were blue in the face, but the ‘pieces’ don’t usually come together until much later, when we say, “Ahhhh….that’s WHY that happened.”

Thank you so much for you sweet and supportive words, Meleah.

    You’re the BEST!

    ((((((( You ))))))

  14. I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    A to the MEN. Couldn’t agree more….

  16. territerri says:

Well, I’m really great at obsessing and over-thinking any situation, so this is great advice for me to remember.

  17. agg79 says:

Excellent advice. Sometimes we just need quit worrying about things out of our control to let things work themselves out.

  18. ladyV says:

okay, i have moved on. now send that memo to my heart.
