AGE: 32
Mr. Emilio M. “Pooh” Caprio died on Friday March 13, 2009 at his home in Jamesburg. He was 32 years old. Born in New Brunswick, he has resided in Jamesburg his entire life. He worked with his father as a carpenter for Emilio W. Caprio Construction Co. for 20 years and also owned and operated his own business, Rug-It Carpet and Flooring Co. in Monroe Twp., for 10 years. Pooh loved being around children and had touched the hearts of many people with his friendly personality. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed four-wheeling.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Michael Smith, Sr., and Anna (DeBartolo) Smith; his paternal grandparents, Emilio P. Caprio, and Josephine (Cerbone) Caprio; and his dog, Abba. He is survived by his parents, Eileen B. (Smith) Caprio, and Emilio W. Caprio of Jamesburg; his sister, Tiffany L. Caprio and her fiancée, Thomas P. Macfee of Old Bridge; his girlfriend, Tiffany L. Collura of Monroe Twp.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A Funeral Service will be 11:00am on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. James RC Church Cemetery, Jamesburg. Visitation will be 6-9pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations would be gratefully accepted by Emilio’s family.
