    Thats just it. I have never seen traffic THIS BAD....EVER. I don't know what's going on, but this year it has been a complete nightmare.

    Must be the time of day we were travelling in LA then .. either that or my NJTP experience was a few years back and it's got worse! Probably that, huh? LOL!

    I lived in CA too - for 5 years. I think the NJTPK is the WORST highway EVER. Especially since I have to drive in THAT twice a day...every day.

    If it's any comfort, having driven the NJTP, and been driven around the LA area for a week, I can tell you that the traffic in LA is worse. Far, far worse.

    No way do I want to move there unless I can have a private helicopter.
  • Hhmm... if I were to live in NJ, I only want to be a policewoman and drive a cop car, turning on my Siren all the way and wave at all those people who got stuck! Woohoo!

  • There is nothing that drives me more crazy than standstill traffic. I absolutely lose my mind sitting there not knowing how long it will be and why we are not moving! Well, I guess it actually compares equally to waiting in an emergency room at the children's hospital, yep, probably the two things I hate most in this world!

    we had a power outage yesterday and they let us leave early. you should have seen me running away from the building.

    if i had to deal with that traffic everyday, i would be such an evil witch.

  • I couldn't sit in traffic every day. But it beats sitting on the train when you have smelly people all over you.
  • Here's an idea for a new TV show: The NJTPK Has Talent!, a reality gig showcasing the singing talents of those hapless drivers stuck in low speed traffic on the road. The Sirius and XM spinoffs would be, of course, open to no censoring.
