I have been tagged for TWO different memes. So, I am posting them together. Here we go!

1st Meme: The Band.

I saw this on Ingrid’s site, whom I was going to STEAL it from, but then, Olga tagged me for this meme, so it is really not stealing anymore.

How to play:

You are about to have your own band’s CD cover. And NO THOUGHT is involved. I followed these instructions to the letter and below is the end result. Try it yourself? Here are the directions:

1.The first article title on this page is the name of your band.

2. The last four words of the very last quote on this page is the title of your album.

3. The third picture, no matter what it is, on this page, will be your album cover.

4. Use your graphics program of choice to throw them together, and post the results.

2nd Meme: Love/Hate

I was tagged (no need to steal this meme) by Nick to complete the meme called: I love, I hate.

  • I love to eat – Anything that will stay down / in my body

  • I love to go – To The Apple store
  • I hate to go – To The Mall
  • I love it when – It Rains (and I can SLEEP IN)
  • I hate it when – I am driving in my car and I seem to be INVISIBLE. Ever have the kind of day where you get CUT OFF so many times you begin to think you are in fact invisible?
  • I love to see – My Son Smile
  • I hate to see – People In Pain
  • I love to hear – Music
  • I hate to hear – “You look tired.” (Because that’s just a polite way of saying, “you look like shit.”)

    As far as the Christian Rock thing, I would take that over rap/hip hop any day of the week. That probably has more to do with my being a crotchety old fart more than anything else. :D

  • I'm in LOVE with your album cover! Sadly, I am ill adept at the graphics, so I can't show you, but I did try the meme with much less spectacular results- My band name was some male golfer, my title was an incomplete sentence, and my picture was a dead deer lying on a mat in a living room.

    Maybe I'll try it again and try to get in a better frame of mind.

  • OK, That album cover is DEEP. I believe that there are no accidents when we do "random" things. You can take the easy way (up the escalator) or the hard way (up the steps) or wait for Mr. Right to descend to meet you...or just stand there and beat your drum...setting the pace for the rest of us to follow. There's my off-the-cuff drunk-on-cheap-wine assessment.

    Apparently I was INVISIBLE on my drive home last night. I was CUT off 4 times by 4 different people. I actually said OUT LOUD, "Am I even ON the Road?...Can Anyone See Me?"
