Love the setup and the colors! The vodka’s probably just as good too. 🙂

  2. Lovely photo Meleah and a good one for this awful prompt.

  3. Agent 54 says:

I like it. The composition and colors all work. Nice pic.

  4. Mariamichelle117 says:

Cool photo. I’m so curious to learn more about Tolstoy after reading all your posts.

  5. Thank goodness my mother has weirdo alcohol like this in the house because I had NO IDEA what else to use!

  6. Rock Chef says:

I remember watching the War and Peace TV series as a child. I think that extras for the battle scenes were provided by the Red Army!
Tried reading the book as a teenager, but ended up skipping to the battle scenes 🙁

  7. Lucy says:

Oh, very nice shot, very enticing, good job 🙂

  8. Why didn’t I think of that!!! Perfect!!! Now… Are you sharing?

  9. Of course I’ll share!!

  10. Ron says:

  12. Thanks, Ron!

Luckily my mother likes REAL Russian vodka so it was perfect for today’s theme!

  13. Ziva says:

You have alcohol for every occasion, don’t you, Meleah? 😀

  14. This has me speaking in a Russian accent. (All the vodka I had to down to come up with an idea for this prompt if probably helping, too.)

  15. marty wombacher says:

That was a tough prompt and you turned it into a beautiful photo, Meleah! Did you do a shot afterwards? Cheers!

  16. mikewjattoomanymornings says:

I’ll be right over. We can discuss literature until we pass out. Or just pass out. Who needs any discussion? I certainly don’t.

  17. mike says:

    Make it a double !

  18. Jackal says:

So now I know why your glass was empty the other day… Fantastic shot! Has an atmosphere.

  19. Thanks, Marty.

No, I didn’t- but maybe I should have!

  20. Thank you, Janine!

And when this damn challenge is over I think we should drink this whole bottle together!
