  2. nonamedufus says:

Drivin’ in the rain, what a wonderful feeling, he’s happy again?

  3. You have a song for everything, Dufus, don’t you!

  4. Let me guess… all this time you’ve just been messing with us and you don’t really have a child at all. Did I get it right? Huh? Huh?

  5. Ziva says:

Your little baby boy, old enough to drive a car.. In Finland, you have to wait til you’re 18. 😉

  6. Pat Kumicich says:

    duh, I don’t get it…

  7. He’s driving, already!

    BULLSHIT!

I’m not old enough to have a child driving!

  8. I’m not happy about him driving. That’s for sure.

  9. He doesn’t get his official license until he’s 17.

  10. Laughing Mom says:

You are definitely not old enough for this – but his driving will age you the ten years that you need!

  11. whenpigsfly says:

Great idea! I just set up a photography section on my site again. I love seeing photos.

  12. Barb Paige says:

I hear ya! My BABY turns 19 in Dec. Complete BS!!!!!

  14. It’s bullshit that I’m old enough to have a driving teenager.

  15. THAT’S WHAT I’M SAYING!!

    Hooray!

Thank you for * getting * this idea!

  16. THANK YOU!!

I’m actually surprised at how many people DON’T get this!

    XOXOX

  17. Ron says:

I think it’s because you and I are both LIBRAS!

  18. Lauren says:

hahahaha! I white-knuckled the door rest when I took my son out driving with his learner’s permit.

  19. Lucy says:

Oh, my gosh, laughing, so laughing!

  20. I am white-knuckling it, DAILY, over here!

  21. I’m glad ONE of us are laughing!!

  22. mike says:

    And in the rain yet.

  23. Coco says:

Tell him to be careful when he see bulls and shit on the street!

  24. Cheryl P. says:

Sure…I get it… this is filed under the “bullshit for now” category, but at some point it will be filed under “independent children are the best thing EVER”.

  25. shadowrun300 says:

My sentiments exactly! While it’s nice that I have 2 drivers to help out with shuttling kids, it’s complete BS that they are old enough, and worse that I am old enough!

  26. MikeWJ says:

I forgot my glasses. *Squints* Is that Bob Marley driving your car? I wouldn’t let Bob drive my car for anything. Great guy, but the dude was constantly stoned. Played great music, tho. “Buffalo Soldier, stepped in bullshit…” Great fucking song.

  27. This was a great idea for this topic! Like I always say, “Fun flies when you’re having time.”

  28. BAhahAHhAHhAhaHAHhAHah!!!!!!!!

  29. ladyV says:

    i didn’t get it because i’m dumb. 🙁

  30. ladyV says:

oh okay, i’m dumb. i understand now. you are not old enough at all

  31. Cheryl says:

Ah hahahahahahaha! Once he gets really really good at it, you’ll be singing a different tune. Sweet shot, Meleah.

  32. No you’re not, Val!

  33. You’re NOT dumb!!

    XOXOXOX

  34. I hope so! And thank you.

  35. You think that’s bad? The summer I ripped out my knee at the lake, Chuck had to drive me home with only a learner’s permit… 1000 miles!

  36. OHMYWORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  37. Jamie Baker says:

To quote Will Smith (aka The Fresh Prince):
    Oh-kay, here’s the situation
My parents went away on a week’s vacation and
They left the keys to the brand new Porsche
    Would they mind?
    Umm, well, of course not
I’ll just take it for a little spin
And maybe show it off to a couple of friends
I’ll just cruise it around the neighborhood
    Well, maybe I shouldn’t
    Yeah, of course I should

  38. Cheryl says:

Trust me, it’ll happen as long as he’s got a good head on his shoulders and follows the state’s laws and your rules.

My mother was beyond thrilled when I got mine. My older sister didn’t get hers until a few years after I did so I was the designated driver for all the younger sibs as well as the kid who ran out to the store whenever anyone needed something right away.

  39. Danielle Batog says:

So many comments…so much to agree with… 😉

  40. Yeah, I truly can’t wait for the day when I can send my son to the store for me!
And, I am totally tired of schlepping him everywhere!
